Reach Centre Needs List for October 2015

*Note: Any clothing items, bedding, towels, etc. must be washed prior to donation for sanitary reasons.

* Official tax receipts may be provided upon request for higher value items, call for details.

  • Double bed frames
  • Non-perishable food items, household items (toilet paper, cleaning supplies, etc.)
  • Clothing (all ages, business attire, winter items in high demand)
  • Fitness equipment (ie: treadmills, elliptical machines, free weights, yoga mats, exercise balls, jump ropes, etc.)
  • Electronic equipment, specifically computers (to be used by youth at the Centre for employment and education application needs)
  • Bedding (single & double sizes mostly)
  • School supplies
  • Books, all ages – must be appropriate for those in recovery from addiction and/or with mental health issues
  • Office supplies (printer paper, post-it notes, printer ink, etc.)

 

Book Signing by Rose Barbour!

Join us at 7pm October 6th at the Reach Centre for the book launch of Chicken Soup for the Soul: Think Possible, in which PEI’s own Rose Barbour has a story published! All proceeds from books sold at the launch, as well as any purchased at the Reach Centre, Murphy’s Pharmacy locations, the Hallmark Store in Charlottetown, Christmas Discounters in Charlottetown, and JC Handyman Services & Sales in Alberton go directly to the Reach Centre to assist with programming for youth in recovery. Books are $20 each, cash or cheque only when purchasing at the book launch and the Reach Centre.
