TELUS Atlantic Canada Community Board Donation
Recently, Quentin Bevan, a director of the TELUS Atlantic Canada Community Board, was at the PEI Reach Centre to provide a cheque for $7,500 on behalf of the board to Carla Wood-Whitty, executive director of the PEI Reach Foundation. The Reach Foundation would like to thank Mr. Bevan and the rest of the TELUS Atlantic Canada Community Board for the donation. Resource Component and Administration an access point and resource centre for youth in recovery from addictions and/or mental health issues. The PEI Reach Foundation provides support, educational sessions, workshops, essential life skills training, a mentor/mentee program, a support group and parent support group. Social Enterprise Component operates through its Work Experience Program (WEP), provides supervised employment opportunities to recovering youth, and provides them with transferable employable work and essential skills that will assist them in their future career choices, while building their confidence and self-esteem. Town of Stratford 2016 Community Expo
The Town of Stratford is holding its 2016 Community Expo this Saturday, September 24th, from 8am-12pm at the Stratford Town Centre Gym, 234 Shakespeare Drive! The PEI Reach Foundation will be selling our very own Hands On Soap and Hands On Graphic T-Shirts on-site, and we will also be showcasing some of our brand new Hands On Furniture and Decorative Items, all made from recycled wood!
